Terms of Use
Updated 2026-07-20
These Terms of Use govern your access to this CanvasCode site, the app download and use of the free trial. By using the site, downloading the app or leaving your email, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who may use it
To download the app and leave your email, you must have the legal capacity to accept these terms and provide a valid email that is yours. Do not use someone else's email without authorization.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site honestly. In particular, you must not:
- submit false data or third-party data without permission, or abuse the sign-up and download with automation;
- attempt to bypass, overload or attack the site, its forms or our systems, including attempts to circumvent security protections;
- access restricted areas, other people's data or parts of the system that are not public;
- use the site content for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates third-party rights.
We may remove sign-ups and restrict access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Communications
By leaving your email to download the app, you agree to receive emails with CanvasCode news. You can opt out at any time, in one click, through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message. The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The app and the trial period
CanvasCode is a macOS app. When you download it, you can try it free for 14 days from installation, with no card and no charge. After that period, full use requires a license. Downloading and trying the app is not a purchase and does not create a charge.
The app runs on your computer and integrates third-party artificial intelligence models that you connect with your own credentials; use of those services is governed by each provider's terms. The app is provided as is, and you are responsible for the content you produce with it and for complying with applicable laws.
Intellectual property
The CanvasCode name, the brand, the design, the texts, the demo video, the app and the other elements of this site are ours or our licensors', and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use these elements without our authorization, except for normal, personal use of the site.
A service in progress, no warranties
The site and the app are offered as is (and as available). Because they are evolving, they may change, become unavailable or have failures at any time. We do not promise that they will always be online, error-free, or that CanvasCode will have any particular date, price, feature or availability. Features mentioned may be part of our future plans and not yet exist.
Nothing here guarantees any price, release date or future feature, and the download and free trial are not a purchase.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, lost profits or losses arising from the use or unavailability of this site. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law grants you that cannot be waived, such as those under consumer protection law where applicable.
Changes to the service and the terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue the site, the download and the trial period, and we may update these terms as the product evolves. The date at the top indicates the latest version. If a change is significant, we will do our best to give notice. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, including the LGPD. Even though CanvasCode is a product with global reach, matters relating to this site will be handled in the competent Brazilian venue, unless the law provides otherwise.
