Every to-do list is born with three states: open, doing, done. That works until the day a task stops moving because of someone else. It isn't open, since you already started it; it isn't doing, since nobody is touching it. You leave it in "doing" and the list starts to lie a little.

In this release tasks get Blocked out of the box, and the rest of the statuses become yours.

Statuses belong to the project

At the end of the panel's bar there is a button that opens the status list for that canvas. There you create the ones your work asks for ("In review", "Waiting on client", "Shipped"), pick name, color and symbol, reorder them, and delete what you don't use. Each project has its own: the client canvas can have "Waiting for approval" without your personal project growing the same column.

When you create a status you say one thing beyond the name: what it means. Queued, in progress, stuck or completed. That is how the app knows whether the task counts as pending, whether the text is struck through, and whether due-date reminders still apply. The name is free; the behavior is picked from a short list.

And deleting a status that is in use loses nothing: the app asks where the tasks in it should go, moves them one by one, and records the change in each task's history, with your name.

The list now has tabs

At the top of the panel: "All" and one tab per status, with the count next to it. In "All" the list is still whole and grouped, and now any section can be collapsed, not just the done ones. In a tab you see only that status, in a clean queue.

Nina and the agents keep up. Saying "mark task three as blocked" works, and whoever reads the list through the canvas also gets which statuses that project has, so a status you created today can be used by voice today.
