Anyone running several agents at once knows the scene: three, five, eight panels open, each on its own subject, and one of them has stopped to ask you something. Finding out which one by scanning the screen costs time, and time is exactly what running things in parallel was supposed to buy you.

A desk keypad solves that from the outside. Each key has a small screen of its own, and a screen lighting up next to your hand is a question answered without looking away from what you were doing.

What is here now

The app now answers that keypad. It reports, live, which projects you have, which areas each one holds, and how every agent inside them is doing: working, idle, waiting on you. And it takes one order back, the simplest and most useful of them all: take me there. One key, and the canvas jumps to the right project, the right tab and the right agent.

The whole conversation happens inside your Mac, through no server at all, with a key that is born fresh every time the app opens and is good for nothing else.

What comes next

The other half is still missing: the plugin that draws the keys on the keypad side. It is next in line, and when it arrives it will not need anything new over here.
